Beehive, the
«Бихайв», «Пчелиный улей» (название современного здания парламента Новой Зеландии в Веллингтоне. Совместное уникальное творение группы архитекторов. Здание имеет цилиндрическую форму в основании и конусообразную, начиная с 4-го этажа. Первоначальный замысел разработан знаменитым британским архитектором сэром Бэйзилом Спенсом {Sir Basil Spence}. Здание имеет 14 этажей, два из кот. подземные. Общая площадь 25,455 кв. м, высота 49 м. Строилось с 1969 до 1981. Официальное открытие королевой состоялось 25 февраля 1977. Премьер-министр и его кабинет въехали в него в конце 1979)
